The Board of Directors of PacificSport Fraser Valley (PSFV) is pleased to announce the appointment of Tara Cleave as the organization’s new Executive Director. Tara brings a wealth of leadership experience in sport, governance, and community engagement, and previously served as both President and a long-standing member of the PSFV Board of Directors.
Tara joins PSFV from after years of working as a consultant supporting community sport. Her focus included helping cities implement Accessibility and Inclusion Plans into policy, as well as delivering grassroots Physical Literacy at a provincial level. Prior to that, she spent 23 years with the City of Surrey, where she supported Sport Tourism and played a key role in the city’s Accessibility and Inclusion strategy.
“I am excited to be a part of PacificSport Fraser Valley in this new role. Having served as a board member and president, I have seen firsthand the impact this organization has on athletes, coaches, and the community. I look forward to building on the strong foundation that Stephanie and the team have created, and to continue advancing opportunities for sport and physical activity across the Fraser Valley,” said Tara Cleave, Executive Director, PacificSport Fraser Valley.
Tara succeeds Stephanie Rudnisky, who led PSFV for six years. The Board extends its gratitude to Stephanie for her dedication and contributions and warmly welcomes Tara to her new role.

Her deep history with PacificSport Fraser Valley, combined with her leadership experience and passion for community sport, make her the ideal person to guide the organization forward. We look forward to the energy, vision, and commitment she will bring in continuing to grow opportunities for athletes, coaches, and families across the Fraser Valley,” said Stephanie Eby, Board Chair, PacificSport Fraser Valley.
