Position: Program Leader 
Employment Term: Part-Time / Contract (Hours vary)
Program Dates: October 5 – December 10, 2026

PacificSport Fraser Valley is looking for energetic and reliable Program Leaders to deliver our Multi-Sport & More after-school programs throughout Langley and Surrey. If you’re passionate about working with children, promoting physical literacy, and creating fun, inclusive sport experiences, we’d love to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead safe, engaging, and inclusive multi-sport programs for children ages 6–12
  • Deliver activities focused on physical literacy and fundamental movement skills
  • Create a positive, welcoming environment for all participants
  • Set up and safely store program equipment
  • Communicate professionally with participants, parents, schools, and fellow staff
  • Follow PacificSport Fraser Valley policies and safety procedures
  • Work collaboratively with instructors, coaches, and community partners

Qualifications:

  • Experience working with children in schools, camps, recreation, or sport programs preferred
  • Passion for sport, recreation, and physical literacy
  • Strong communication and leadership skills
  • Energetic, dependable, and professional
  • Criminal Record Check (or willing to obtain)

Assets:

  • Standard First Aid & CPR
  • HIGH FIVE® Principles of Healthy Child Development
  • NCCP Coaching Certification
  • Physical Literacy or Fundamental Movement Skills training
  • Valid BC Driver’s Licence and access to reliable transportation

Job Details:

  • Contract Position | $20.00–$23.00/hour (based on experience)
  • After-school programs held Monday–Thursday
  • Additional paid opportunities available through Pro-D Day Camps, school programs, and community events
  • Programs delivered at schools and recreation facilities throughout Langley and Surrey

Position: Floor Hockey Instructor
Employment Term: Part-Time / Contract (Hours vary)
Start and End Date: Ongoing (2026/2027 School Year)
Application Deadline: Open until filled (applications reviewed on a rolling basis)

We’re looking for enthusiastic and reliable Floor Hockey Instructors to join our team and support the delivery of the Junior Canucks Floor Hockey program in schools across Langley and Surrey. If you enjoy working with kids, are passionate about sport and physical activity, and want to build your leadership skills, we want to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and support floor hockey sessions for elementary school students
  • Teach fundamental skills including passing, shooting, and gameplay
  • Create a fun, safe, and inclusive environment for all participants
  • Set up and take down program equipment
  • Maintain safety protocols and supervise participants at all times
  • Communicate effectively with school staff and PSFV supervisors
  • Adapt activities to suit different ages and skill levels

Qualifications:

  • Experience working with children (schools, camps, or sport programs) preferred
  • Strong communication and leadership skills
  • Energetic, reliable, and professional
  • Clear Criminal Record & Vulnerable Sector Check (or willing to obtain)

Assets:

  • Background in sport, recreation, or coaching
  • Hockey or floor hockey experience (not required but preferred)
  • NCCP or physical literacy certifications (or willingness to obtain)

Job Details:

  • Contract Position | $20.00/hour | Hours vary based on school schedules
  • Programs delivered during school hours
  • Work primarily takes place in school gymnasiums
  • Some travel within Langley and Surrey may be required
