Notice of Annual General Meeting
PacificSport Fraser Valley
The Board of Directors of PacificSport Fraser Valley invites all members in good standing to attend
the Society’s Annual General Meeting (AGM).
Date: Wednesday, September 17, 2025
Time: 8:00 PM
Location: PacificSport Fraser Valley Office – Langley Events Centre
Who Can Vote:
In accordance with the Society’s bylaws, only registered PacificSport Fraser Valley athletes and
coaches in good standing are eligible to vote.
• Athletes under the age of 18 may not vote directly but may assign their voting privileges to a
parent or legal guardian until they reach the age of majority.
• Voting by proxy is not otherwise permitted.
Purpose of the AGM:
The business of the Annual General Meeting will include:
• Consideration of the financial statements for the year ended March 31, 2025
• Presentation of the report of the Directors
• Election of Directors – Nominations will be taken from the floor. We are actively seeking
new voices and perspectives to strengthen our Board of Directors. This is an excellent
opportunity to contribute to the growth and impact of PacificSport Fraser Valley in our
community.
• Appointment of the financial reviewer
Quorum: A minimum of three (3) voting members must be present to conduct business.
Pre-Registration:
We ask that you pre-register for this event by completing this REGISTRATION FORM so we can
better anticipate attendance numbers.
We encourage all eligible members to attend and actively participate in the governance of the
Society.
