PacificSport Fraser Valley has partnered with the Canuck Autism Network to host virtual multi-sport programs to provide opportunities to their participants between the ages of 7 and 12 years old to discover a variety of new sports in fun and non-competitive environments.  The sports and activities are led by certified sport coaches and focus on developing new skills through a combination of well structured and unstructured play.

Canucks Autism Network (CAN) is dedicated to providing programs to individuals with autism and their families, while promoting acceptance and inclusion through community engagement and training initiatives across BC and beyond. We are very proud to partner with CAN to offer these virtual multi-sport programs.

Our spring programs are currently focusing on the introduction of ball and bat sports. Participants are getting the opportunity to learn from two expert sport coaches for 3 consecutive weeks of each sport, through 45 minute virtual introductory lessons, for a total of 6 weeks per program. This program is for children ages 7 – 12 and more information can be found here.

“We are so fortunate to have this opportunity to partner with [PacificSport Fraser Valley] to allow our participants access to a variety of sports that they may not otherwise have an opportunity to participate in.  It has really opened up the door to providing access these sports in a safe, supportive environment!”
